Refund Policy
Effective date: May 1, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how RanchOps handles subscription billing, trials, cancellations, and refund requests.
30-day trial
RanchOps may offer a 30-day free trial before paid subscription billing begins. To avoid future charges, cancel before the trial ends.
1. Subscription billing
RanchOps Pro is a subscription service. Depending on the plan you choose, billing may occur monthly or annually. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
2. Free trial period
If a free trial is offered, you can use the included paid features during the trial period without being charged until the trial ends. Trial length, availability, and eligibility may vary.
If you do not want to continue after the trial, you must cancel before the trial ends. If you continue past the trial period, your selected payment method may be charged according to your plan.
3. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription through the billing area where available or by contacting support. Canceling prevents future renewal charges. Unless otherwise stated, you may continue to access paid features until the end of the current paid billing period.
4. General refund position
Because RanchOps is a digital subscription service with a free trial available, paid subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins, except where required by law or approved by RanchOps in its discretion.
5. Situations we may review
We may review refund requests for situations such as duplicate charges, accidental billing immediately after a cancellation attempt, technical issues that prevented meaningful access, billing errors, or other unusual circumstances. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
6. Annual plans
Annual plans may provide a discounted rate compared with monthly billing. Annual subscription charges are generally non-refundable after the billing period begins, except where required by law or approved by RanchOps in its discretion.
7. Partial months, unused time, and account inactivity
We generally do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partial months, unused time, account inactivity, forgotten cancellations, or features you chose not to use during an active subscription period.
8. Failed payments and grace periods
If a payment fails, RanchOps may retry the charge, apply a grace period, limit access, suspend paid features, or cancel the subscription. Grace periods are intended to help resolve billing issues and do not guarantee continued access indefinitely.
9. How to request a refund review
To request a refund review, email info@ranchops.app with the account email, charge date, amount, and a short explanation of the issue.
If a refund is approved, it will usually be returned to the original payment method through our payment processor. Processing times vary by bank and card issuer.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
